martin case and how clod glad he was that he was not injured. >> can you go home and tell your parents things like this and do not be a scared. it happens. >> he said the home owner accused he and the two friends of taking items from the house and they deny it. he said a few minutes later, the two offduty officers came after them in this section of the subdivision. one of them tackling jl on this street and punching him. the o.j. virginia now and a guilty verdict that killed a child. the 22-year-old victor was convicted of manslaughter and other charges. his car slammed into maria chavez and her son while they walked to a playground in alexandrea in january. the eight-year-old brian hernandez chavez died. the woman broke both of her legs and her hip. he could spend more than 26 years in prison. about 2100 exxon employees

in fairfax county are going to houston. the company is relocating in 2049 and all employees will be transferred and exxon moving from akron, ohio. a spokesman for the governor said that that is deappointing but the governor knew for awhile exxon was getting ready to go. the city put up 27 new speed cameras. they're some pots with the most crashes and calls for police service and speeding. can you find a list of the locations on www.myfoxdc.com. we're monitoring metro and a major development for the plan to the silver line. the agency agreed to ditch the clubbion incentives for contractors. the virginia governor and low den county supervisors said the preference had to go or they would pull funding for the project. the decision applies to the second phase of the project. the first is a voluntary labor

your help finding a person of interest in a sex assault. the 21-year-old woman said she was walking early in the morning on may 19th about when a man pulled her into an alley and assaulted her. check out the video. the police say this man was in the area around the same time and they want to talk to him and if you recognize him, annapolis police would like to hear from you. a maryland honor student was accidentally arrested and missed her own high school graduation. she is smiling now but the baltimore teenager spent four days in jail and was arrested at school in front of her school. the officers realized their mistake, brown was freed and not after missing one of the most important days of her life, high school graduation. >> and she will never get her graduation back or the walk across to get her diploma. they took that from her. >> prosecutors have dropped the first-degree attempted murder

d.c. region? the first time ever, they're being graded and given a score, a, b, c, d, or f, in d.c., sibling memorial hospital is the only one that scored an a. georgetown university hospital, washington hospital center, and gw received cs. in virginia, inova loudoun got the high score of an a. faulkier and prince william hospitals received c and fairfax still pending. maryland hospitals have not been graded and here to talk about our hospitals is leah. and explain how you came up with the grading system? >> we brought together the nation's top experts, nine from across the country from stanford and harvard and john's hopkins and asked them to look at all of the publicly available data there is on safety, meaning infects and hazards that happen in a hospital. las vegas -- lacerations, accidents. look at all of the available data and come up with one score for every hospital. they took 9 months and did it.

>> reporter: how do you differentiate between an a and b and c and from grade cool -- school, we know c is average. >> we graded on a curve. the first time we have done it and had to look on a curve. there was a nice curve. and it was very clear from looking at how the hospitals are, which hospitals were exceptionally good, which deserve more and still good and which which are not average. >> the non-profit organization, but you're supported by major employers and why are they curious about hospitals and hospital safety? >> reporter: well, what many people don't realize is that many employers in this country spend more on health benefits than they earned in profits last year and that is an enormous cost to employees are and they take care of employees and those in the healthy and not showing up to work. and that matters to employers.

they were concerned and they were seeing this rate of accidents and injuries and not only is that costing them money but the health of their employees. they're concerned and formed a non-profit organization 10 years ago, actually, and this is the first time we have done this project. >> and what is your hope? to -- to put the word out and put pressure on the hospitals not achieving the standards and what you decide should be achieving the scores? >> it's important that ordinary people, families, people like me talk to hospitals and doctors and say safety is important to me. i want you to see this as a priority and that is what is important and what we don't have now. as soon as the hospitals recognize the public wants that safety, we'll so improvement instantly. >> and when are you going to maryland? >> the federal government in its wisdom, exempted maryland from public reporting that --

and i am a resident of maryland. i will tell you, i am not happy that i don't get the information everyone else in the country gets about their hospitals. we're going to work with the federal government and officials and experts to see what we can do. >> and quickly, the website where people can go and look at this? >> hospitalsafetyscore.org and search all of the hospitals and we have information about taking precautions and when you are admitted to the hospital. >> and thank you for coming in. >> and thanks for having me. >> and this has been sitting here in the southern sections of the city now the last hour, hour and a half or so and barely moving. it's cleared of 66. arlington, you drying up from north to south and into alexandrea and growing a bit. if it's moving, it's barely moving to the south. that is putting down in good

rain there and lightning from time to time and this spire thunderstorm down around waldorf and nowhere sections of charles county. that is all we're seeing and in terms of that temperature, 73; monasses, 72; quantico right now, 75 degrees and that spotty shower or thunderstorm at 7:00. the temperature in the lower 70s and clouds at 9. and a few clouds on 65 by 11:00. tonight's numbers into the 50s and that broad area of low pressure to the most of us and keeping most of the rain to the north of us. this evening, we have had some showers and thunderstorms and this is what we were looking at on radar and that is probably all we're going to see. i don't see anything else popping up around. the weekend, the jet stream to the north and we get out of the ever-present trough of low pressure and that brought us the cool temperatures this week and the afternoon clouds and occasional showers. we build the jetstream to the

north and that means the warm temperatures and we will have a chance of isolated thunderstorms sunday and monday. temperatures tonight, comfortable 59 here in town. gaithersburg, 55; dulles, 56; monasses, 55 degrees and another night out there with some comfortable low temperatures and that chance of an isolated shower and thunderstorm and into some suburbs, lower to mid-50s and that is like today and warmer. the temperature is up to 80 degrees and, yes, we'll have that ever-persistent chance of a spotty shower and late afternoon thunderstorm. and next five days, that is probably going to go away on friday and friday looks fairly dry. the high pressure begins to build in for the weekend and that is go to el the -- elevate the temperatures a bit. 87 on saturday; 91, sunday. at least a chance this being w

brian -- this weekend, brian, for late-day, early evening showers and thunderstorms. we're in what is called a northwest flow and wveof a stor there. and check out the weather any time g. to apples app and mark it on the smart phone and search for d.c. weather. the shuttle enterprise arrived at the final destination and a permanent picture here in new york. fox's lauraingal has details on the long trip. >> reporter: enterprise flew from washington to new york on april 27th and stayed at jfk international airport until sunday. while the space shuttle was being transported from the airport to weeks marine shipyard in new jersey, a gust of wind caused one of the wings to scrape against a railroad bridge in jamaica bay and once at the shipyard, enterprise was lifted by a giant crane on to a

barge and arrested for an extra day due to the bad weather and to the intrepid c -- sea, air, and space museum where it's on permanent display. >> and we have been waiting 3 1/2 years for this and we're excited to see the shut oath flight deck. >> reporter: the shuttle passing the statue of libertyet and world trade center and around to the museum. onlookers say this is a big deal for new york city to house this rare icon. >> and the business and all of the economy have seen the freighters. we see all of the cruise ships stocking here now and then to have the space shuttle here is like oh, my god. it's like pretty impactful. it's cool. >> reporter: the intrepid museum president said it's an engineering feat to move a space shuttle to the intrepid. >> and this is the first time. for our engine ears, they had to look to every aspect and re- engineer a bit of the flight deck to make sure the weight on wheel was supported.

>> reporter: once on display, the shuttle will be held 10 feet off of the ground so onlookers can walk around it and even underneath it. the museum president hopes it will educate all coming to see it. >> and we have an exciting artifact. maybe they will be tomorrow's researchers, scientists, and engineers and that makes us happy. >> reporter: the enterprise is on display starting july 19th n. new york, laura ingall, fox news. and coming up, the redskins are taking their training back on the road to richmond. how this impacts the current headquarters in loudoun county. and first, the miami dolphins giving fans something to cheer about. the cheerleaders put together a video to the popular song "call me maybe," yet another video to this song went viral. it was shot in dominican where they were for their 2013 swimsuit calendar. it calendar. "planned parenthood we're gonna get rid of that."" romney is saying he'll deny women the birth control and cancer screenings they depend on. when romney says "do i believe the supreme court should overturn roe v. wade? yes." he's saying he'll deny women the right to make their own medical decisions and when his campaign can't say whether he'd support equal pay protections. "and we'll get back to you on that." romney's putting your paycheck at risk. planned parenthood action fund is responsible for the content of this advertising because mitt romney is out of touch and wrong for women.
